I’ve spent most my life living in Southwest Michigan, loving all the amazing amenities the area has to offer. My entire work life has focused on helping others; from the early days in food service and retail, to teaching, and finally in real estate. Helping people reach their life goals is what makes me tick. My first experience with real estate was in my teen years, when I convinced my parents to make a lower offer on some investment properties. It worked, and they owned the houses for almost 40 years. Advising people today is a whole new situation. Having someone on your side who understands the speed of today’s market, and who understands the nuances of newer strategies to help bring a transaction together is vital. My philosophy is that an informed client is a happy client. When I’m not working, you’ll find me playing disc golf, soaking up the sun at Lake Michigan, hiking, taking photographs (I sold my first one this year, I guess making me a professional photographer), or hanging out with friends at one of the many, many exceptional restaurants or music venues in this area. Or you might find me volunteering for one of the many parent organizations affiliated with Comstock Public schools, helping with local elections, or working to improve the condominium association I’m proud to be president of.
